The governor took a surprise walk round Takum today, he made this with an intend of meeting his people as a leader will meet his followers. This is the first time a governor in Taraba will walk round a street of a town having hand shake with his subjects
He visited also some boreholes which were renovated and also a clinic in Gawehtun ward. The Governor told news men that all equipments needed for the clinic to function well has been provided and will soon be conveyed to the clinic, he explained saying the concern Ministry has visited the clinic, assess it and is ready for use. The people came out in there numbers as they never anticipated his surprise appearance on the street.
He also visited a area around Sabongari and donated a Engine used for breaking of stone to some women who requested that as there only need, he also gave orders for immediate renovations of some overhead tanks which were faulty round the town.
The Governor lastly visited the sub station of Kashimbilla Dam along Katsina-ala road and commended the workers for a progressive work so far.
