PDP presidential aspirant, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal visits Taraba seeks delegates support

His Excellency Alh Aminu Waziri Tambuwal a PDP presidential aspirant and the present Governor of Sokoto state today visited Taraba state to canvass for the votes of delegates ahead of October 6th National Convention. He was received by His Excellency the Deputy Governor Taraba state Enrg Haruna Manu and the party chairman Hon Victor Bala Kona.
The deliberation took place at the government house executive chambers where top government functionaries attended amongst which was the speaker Taraba state House of Assembly Rt Hon Abel Peter Diah, Hon Danladi Baido Reps, members Taraba State house of Assembly, Commissioners, Advisers, SSA's and party faithfuls
Tambuwal speaking said Nigeria need a leader who can stand up to the challenges facing it's citizens and not one who sees another better than other. He said he is optimistic that if given the party ticket he will run an all inclusive government which will inturn bring positive growth to the Nation. He described APC as a failed government which is Specialized on witch-hunting the opposition. He assured the PDP of his commitment to insuring that power changes base in 2019 for a better and united Nigeria.
Tambuwal thanked the good people of Taraba and the party for the warm reception accorded him and said he won't forget it in a hurry
Responding to his statement His Excellency Engr Haruna Manu the Deputy Governor said he has no doubt that Tambuwal will lead the country to a more better paths than it is today. Manu said Tambuwal has got all the credentials to be the number one citizen of this country been that he has served in different public offices.
He assured Tambuwal of total commitment of the Taraba state delegates in making the best choice to represent the party in the 2019 presidential elections. He lastly said the party will consult widely with the entire members, stakeholders and bodies of the party in coming up with the best decisions on who to support which will be related to him in due course
