Permanent Secretary Bureau for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs , Alh. Bello Yero has reiterated his determination and that of the people of the state in general to ensure Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku continues his “good work for the state beyond 2019”.
Addressing a cross section of the new media in Jalingo yesterday, Bello said “I will leave no stone unturned to ensure Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku return to power 2019”.
“People who love Taraba will definitely want Governor Ishaku to continue. His second term will help strengthen our institutions of governance and assure our state of a greater tomorrow”. Bello urged Tarabans to speak with one voice and remain united in order to continue to push the state toward greatness.
“Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku is not a sectional leader. Therefore, Leaders of influence must continue to promote speeches that will enhance our unity rather than divide us”
Bello also said, the Acting President NULGE Taraba State chapter has affirmed the statement of Governor Darius Ishaku that he was up-to-date in salaries payment when the New Executive visited him. He also disclosed that the two months salaries inherited from the previous government would be paid because the Governor was committed to making sure he settles that.
