RE: 2017 TARABA CULTURAL CARNIVAL AND AFTHERMATH.

The development of every society hinged on involvement of the workforce (youth) in human oriented projects that will better their lives and their immediate environment.

Conscious of the aforementioned fact, wife of Taraba state Governor Mrs. Anna Darius Ishaku the founder of Hope Afresh Foundation ,an NGO with the vision /mission of giving hope to the vulnerable in the state organized Taraba Cultural Carnival Dec. Last year which brought together Tarabans from the 16 local government areas of the state and the two special development areas inclusive.

Notably, the 2017 TCC evolved round program such as trade fair, sport, cooking competition, tailoring, road walk, cultural dance, musical concert and other events sponsored by development partners of the foundation notably Face of Taraba (beauty pageant).

The TCC could be characterize as successful as it said to be the first of its kind  in the  state as well meets the aspirations of participants and Tarabans at large.

Worrisome is the misconception by some quarters on one of the event tagged "Face of Taraba "wish has to do with beauty pageant spearheaded by the CEO" Nature's Event and Beauty" Hon.Nelson C. Len were winners usually smile home with gifts(🚗) on the  contrary the terms for the above mentioned weren't reached by the Queen immediately, though hoping to soon .

Permit me say that the event Face of Taraba was a  program anchored by one of the development partner of Hope Afresh Foundation Hon. Nelson C. Len

Thus, the CEO ( Hon Nelson C Len) of the program reserved right to the car and certificate and other juicy offers that comes with the competition.

Hope Afresh Foundation was a  facilitator in the  execution of the program  Face of Taraba NOT the sponsor, and the foundation did not in anyway promised job to winner of the contest as claimed by some quarters. Let it be on record that I the Secretary Hope Afresh Foundation Taraba, is a member of the board of directors in the pageantry and is in picture of the rules as well as the terms and conditions applied to the star prize.

The Foundation calls on the aggrieved party to desist from tarnishing it's image on social media by saying it failed in its responsibility. However, sympathize with their situation and hope things shall be resolved amicably.
