STABILIZATION OF ELECTRICITY IN & AROUND JALINGO WITH OVER 200 TRANSFORMERS

At the time governor Ishaku came into office, Jalingo was supplied a dismissal of just 2 mega watts of electricity. Because of his quest to boost the economy of the state to a reasonable level, He then visited and engaged the authorities concerned. Based on his personal goodwill and financial commitment, power was increased to 18 mega watts.
Even when the facilities on ground were not adequate to stabilized the new power sourced, the rescue captain immediately awarded the contract for the purchase of hundreds of transformers in addition to the ones on ground before elections where conducted, and hence were installed to stabilized electricity in Jalingo.
The interventions of Ishaku’s led administration in the power sector have tremendously improved energy with all the positive economic multiplier effect, especially for small and medium scale businesses. "95% of residents in Jalingo and environs can now boast of full current whenever there is electricity. And more to that, electricity in Jalingo and its environs have stabilizes power supply virtually 24/7 and the days of having and complaining of low currents are over.
The governor has installed transformers in almost all the nooks and cronies of Jalingo, indeed we have benefited from his connections in the power sector.
Taraba state university have also benefited from the governor’s intervention with the installation of 2.5 MVA power transformer
