Rumour has it that 1000 Naira is been deducted
from LG salaries for the burial of late Gov Danbaba
Suntai which is not true. The set amount been
deducted is for Genuine workers identification card
and not Burial.
The request for printing and production of
Identification card was brought before His
Excellency The Executive Gov for approval by the
Local Government Service Commission with
reasons that, since there was a biometric Exercise
which was successfully conducted, there is a need
to tag each genuine staff with identification card
for easy dictation and for security purposes.
After proper and due observations the Governor
approved the deduction of the set sum and
directed the Bureau for local Government to make
the deduction as the genuine financial body for LG
workers salaries an remit same to Lilywood
Ventures Jalingo for onward production of the ID
card.
There was no time what soever that any deduction
was made in regards the burial of late Gov Suntai.
I call on the public to disregard any false news
peddled around by mischievous individual with aim
at dragging the name of the state to mud.
I want to assure Tarabans that Lat Suntai will be
giving a befitting burial as his status was during
his life time and still is. The state Government
under the leadership of Gov Ishaku is ontop of the
matter in making sure that Suntai is giving a state
farewell.
Still to remind the good people of Taraba and
Nigeria at large that the Burial of Late Gov Suntai
comes up on the 19th of August 2017 at his home
town Suntai let's together accord him a state
farewell
