From supreme Court Abuja , DDI and DSK Appeal date on arrival says Judge. In court were Hon Victor Bala kona, Alh Abubakar Bawa, Hon Taninga Binga, Hon Gowon Emmanuel and lots of suppoters from Taraba. As reported by the SA to Gov. Ishaku on New media, Mr. Nelson C Len. He reported that the session which began with both parties highly tense, was shaken off that tension at the appearance of the lead counsel to Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku in person of famous Kanu Agabi (SAN). Mr. Len however stated that the appeal is a appeal against the court of appeal judgment delivered on the 29 June 2016 in Yola, says counsel to DSK. he said the appellant brief was formulated on two motion for adjournment and was adopted. When asked if giving opportunity to say what he will say, he said the preliminary objection challenging the motion are sort in incompetence. Nelson revealed that; Kanu Agabi (SAN) while speaking said there was no reply to this judgment when he objected there grounds in one of the earlier settings, and therefore plead the court to strike out these request as there is no ground for adjournment. He also asked the court to strike out the appeal for lack of merit The counsel to the third respondent also ask the court to strike out the appeal for lack of merit. The case was however adjourned to 7th April 2017 for judgment. The chairman PDP Taraba state Hon Victor Bala kona speaking to press said no one can preamp judgment but 7th April will tell, and he is optimistic that PDP will Come out victorious.
