Njidda Maiyaki who spoke onbehalf of
others thanked the Governor for all he has been doing for them. He also told the governor that all the promise he has made, may he find the grace to fulfil them in God name. He told the governor that, When he is making boast with God no one will stab his back. He thank the governor saying he is among those who went for pilgrimage this year and thanked the Governor for considering him. they prayed everyday for him while in the Holy Land he Njidda said.
The youths also said if a big man plead for something from a little man it gives him a great joy, them in Wukari met with the members in the house of assembly and pledged peace and from that day peace came to stayed
The governor Responding said he requested to meet with them so that they can rob minds together. Speaking he said, I called you all so that we can exchange pleasantries and also discuse on how to sustain the peace which we are already enjoying. I and my rescue team will fold our trousers and get down to work for your benefits now because you have giving us the peace we asked for. The people of Wukari are having a major water problem which I know he said, and I'm doing everything to tacked the case.
My people are already working a new development plan and we will conclude it soon and develop Wukari again for the betterment of us all. We are all from diffrent tribes and places and God made it that way, and been that no one can determine were he goes or were to be born,we must tolerate each other. I plead with you all with a large voice to please handle the peace we have sofar with care and love. I pray that the devil will not come in between us again for any reason. This new year the general Hospital will be of modern standard , the empowerment programs will be sustained and modern machines be provided for the graduates. We must not forget that Those engage with meaningful things will never get involved in thuggery nor violence because is only a ideal mind that is the devils workshop.
Wukari is the base center for rice in Taraba and we are trying to bring it back to lime light, because when I stopped rice production in wukari some one visited me back then and said, even the birds have reported me to God and I told him just give me peace and I will return, Now the peace is back and I promise to do all I can to bring the basic needs for the common man to our door steps.
