The Carnival which is organized by Hope Afresh Foundation had in attendance wife of the Governor Her Excellency Barr Mrs Anna Darius Ishaku, wife of the Deputy Governor Hajiya Zainab Manu, Chief of Staff Taraba government house Chief Rebo Usman, commissioners, chairmen etc
The Deputy Governor speaking said the organizers of this event "Hope Afresh Foundation" have done not only well but Great in favor of the state. He said revitalizing our culture is one thing that should not be negotiated and She Anna has thought it wise to do just that. Manu said all over the world this event is been organized and Taraba must not be an exception. He said come 2018 they will be a bigger version of this Carnival and went ahead to declare the carnival open.
Her Excellency Barr Mrs Anna Darius Ishaku speaking encouraged the people of Taraba to always celebrate our culture and promote it in and out of the state. She thanked the Governor for making sure that Taraba enjoys the peace that exist. She said without peace they wouldn't have been this gathering. She said the carnival is going to last for three days and they are lot of unique things to witness and advised Tarabans not to miss out in this moment of history making.
Inspection of stands was made by the Deputy Governor Enrg Manu in company Her Excellency Barr Mrs Anna Darius Ishaku where cultural and locally made produce were displayed as symbol of cultural Heritage of each LG, tribes, and culture
