Our attention has been drawn to the continues disobedience from members of the party especially some stakeholders as well as imposition of candidates, all in the name of Sub zoning.
The group which spoke through it chairman Comr. Neldon C. Len said, why is it that the party can't believe in the YOUNG PEOPLE? Imagine 58yrs old Man, after serving under former Gov Sulivan Chime of Enugu State as Commissioner for 8yrs & now a serving House of Assembly member, has to resign and is drafted to be imposed on the hardworking & abandoned Youths again as PDP National Youth Leader(NYL)?Nigerian Youths must rise against this impunity
We want to put this straight to the caretaker committee as well as BOT of our party that:-
1. We won't accept the imposition of a National youth leader of the party on us as well as the Deputy national youth leader.
2. We condemn in totality the sub zoning system carried out by zones, as it is not favouring the rightful candidates to represent the party.
3. We urge leaders of the party to sacrifice there personal ambitions and interest for the sake of bringing the party back to her feet.
4. We urge the reconciliation committee which has just been sworn inn to be just, fare and transparent to all aggrieved members, compromising grounds for level play ground to all.
5. The party should ensure a free and test of popularity on positions which consensus are not agreed on.
We therefore... unanimously Endorse COMR Edede Franklyn for PDP NYL since it has been zoned to his zone, and considering the rule he has played in the party, and also in the recent crisis that rocked the party, we affirm him as one who will truly represent the interest of the PDP youths nation wide.
