The executive governor of Taraba state His Excellency
Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku today swore in
comissioner house of assembly commision and
some board chairmen and it members as well as
fiscal responsibility commision . The event took place
at the government house Exco chambers jalingo and
had members of the executive council in attendance,
among others present during the inauguration were
the former SSG Taraba State Barr. GT Kataps, kambu
community etc.
Among those inaugurated is Distinguished senator
Marafa Abba Bashir as Chairman cultural and
Tourism board, Barr. Ishaka Bawa as Chairman
Electrification Agency board, Engr Joshua Hassan as
Chairman Taraba Television, Hon Danjuma ayaze as
Chairman Tsbs board , Alh Nahu Dame chairman
pension board. Also the general managers of TTV
and Tsbs who were on acting capacity were
confirmed to be substantive managers
The Governor enjoyed the new appointees to take
this appointment as a service to there father land, he
urge them to put in there best in other to key in to
the rescue agenda which is aimed at making life easy
and growing Taraba to an enviable hight. He however
said the state is doing it best to see that the citizens
benefits and enjoy the complete dividend of
democracy.
Gov DDI speaks ....
"I want to state that each of this commision and
boards is very critical to this rescue administration.
Talk of TTV we have fix in a digital communication
system so that what we do will be carried to our
people who are far from the state so that they can be
monitored and see for them selves. Also the Tsbs so
that through that media our people can be able to
hear what we do and advice were and when
necessary. The culture and Tourism board is one of
another powerful board which we are working hard
to encourage, even in my last visit to Kenya Tourism
was the top of our discussion because a lot of
revenue is been lost in Tourism, so we are putting In
all we can to upgrade it.
State Local government and state pension board, we
are hopeful that the federal government will come to
our assistance because we are owing huge sum and
it is not good to work and when you are retired you
won't have anything to retire home with, so we are
really hopeful that we can engage the FG so that
pensioners can be rescued.
The Assembly service commision we are working
always to keep the relationship we have always
enjoyed with them because they are a key arm of the
government and we will work to make sure that the
relationship is sealed well as it has always been. In
sports commision we urge the youths to be patient
enough with us as we are working to see that we
resolve what ever differences we have with the youth
and we shall do this in sportsman's way
