Jalingo LG stakeholders today visited Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku at the government house Jalingo. The delegation Was led by the chairman Jalingo LG Alh Nasiru Bobboji.
Responding to the Stakeholders Governor Ishaku expressed his gratitude for the numerous achievement mentioned by the stakeholders Boaz executed in Jalingo. Ishaku said he will continue to do his best if only they will continue to sustain the peace in the state . Governor Darius said on the Anti open grazing bill he will not miss words because he believes he is on the right path, adding that when ever you hear him saying it is the best economically and socially, he is quoting a prominent Fulani ruler in the Country Ishaku said it was through his advice that he finally took the stands on that bill but was surprise that the same person goes on air to castigate him.
The Governor pleaded with the people to play politics according to the rule, he ask them to avoid politics of religion, pains and selfish interest. He applauded all the jalingo citizens working in his administration saying they are all doing their best in contributing there on quoter to the state. The Governor personally mentioned few people like Alh Bello Yero Permanent Secretary Bureau, Alh Bobboji Nasiru Chairman Jalingo LG, Hon Hassan Bappa Commissioner urban, saying he can attest as been supportive to him and his government and urge them to continue the good works.
The chairman Jalingo LG Alh Nasiru Bobboji speaking during the visit said they were in the government house to appreciate the Governor for his love and benevolence towards them in Jalingo LG, Nasiru said in his appointment there has never been any Governor who has considered giving them appointment in such a high number despite the shortcomings during the 2015 general elections, he said one Commissioner, twenty two SSA's, , four SA's three board chairmen's, Ten board members, Three permanent secretaries, Two Executive Secretaries, Chief protocol to the Governor, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, one hundred and Ten Rescue teachers to mentioned but few. Bobboji called on the Governor to help check the menace of drugs by young people in the state saying it is eating deep and pray that something urgent be done to arrest the situation.
The chairman went ahead to mention some projects executed in Jalingo LG as a reason why they must return him in 2019 for the completion of the great jobs done on Jalingo and those yet to be done. Some of this projects are, Construction of Justice Mahmud Road( behind FMC), Constitution of NIPOST Road road, Muslim council road, Construction of Kona Road, Multi Billion Naira Jalingo water project, Mountain of fire Road, prompt response and proactive measure on securities of lives and properties, street light at Donga road, street light at Jalingo main market road, Renovations and furnishings of blocks of primary schools, provisions of Health care services among others.
With the above mentioned executed projects, the stakeholders unanimously agreed and came to terms and conclusion that Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku is endorsed as the Candidate to fly the PDP gubernatorial ticket come 2019 and promise to vote him massively without relenting.
