While on the salary challenges facing some of the states in the federation, the national body of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employee (NULGE), after careful assessment deem if worthwhile to honor the executive governor of Taraba State, His Excellency Arc. Darius Ishaku with an award of credence for a prompt payment of salaries.
The merit of this award is not unconnected from the fact that Gov Darius despite the scarce resources that dwindles the nations economy where many states lament awesomely to financial woe and couldn't meet with some of their Local Governments and even state monthly vouchers, yet Gov Darius is ranked the best for prompt payment of salaries.
Some state Governors are owing their staff several months, referencing Kogi state that owe her staff for more than 10 months and no project to show forth
and a host of other states that have nothing to write home about, the rescue captain of Taraba State is busy and keeping focus and making history even as an opposition state with low allocation scale.
I am not positing that Governor Darius is perfect, but he is at least the best compare to other states who are below average in salary payment, since he is acknowledged and honored by the NULGE National.
He is scoring a lot of money projects across the state and his salary scale is smiling green as well.
We pray that for more ability to the governor to be able to do more as he keep Taraba moving forward by making the reality of the Rescue Agenda.
