After 30 years of negligence the mambilla beverages Nigeria limited, producers and makers of highland tea, can now conveniently pay their workers
and also make profit due to the timely intervention by Gov. Darius Ishaku Within
just one year in office.
The garden though in existence for the past thirthy (30)
years, has been using the outdated LTP processor for production, the LTP is
popurlarly known for its low productivity, which gives rise to not getting the
right fund to pay it workers talk more of making profit, as it has been stated
by professionals that the highland tea is on of the best in the nation and can
boost not only the states econony but even the country at large, but yet was
negleted and fortten, Not until Gov.
Darius in connection with the rescue team came to their rescue and purchased
,installed new CTC (cut, tear & curl) machines to replace the LTP and
enhance more faster, broad and high produtivity. More to that arrangements are
been made for training and reyraining of both new and the company’s existing
staffs.
On the other hand the Tunga dampo that was commisioned by DDI in august 2015, has been a
source of power to the factory and near by towns, the people of mambilla are
however grateful for the consideration and the new development which will go a
long way in boosting the states economy and also providing job for the people
of the metropolis and thereby reducing unemployment rate in the state.
