WORLD TOURISM DAY: Mambilla To Host The Celebration In Taraba

The Mambilla Plateau has an average elevation of about 1,524 metres (5,000 ft) above sealevel leaving it as the highest plateau in Nigeria since no other plateau in Nigeria rivals it in elevation.
Some of its villages are situated on hills that must be at least 1,828 metres (5,997 ft) high above sea level.
The major ethnic groups on the plateau, include the Mambila,
Fulani ,Kaka, Panso and Kambu, with the Mambilla being the Majority.
The Major Language Spoken
on the Plateau are Mambilla (Which comprises several Dialects,Fulfulde (Which is the Commercial Language and spoken by almost the entire Population, Kaka, Hausa etc.
The Occasion will be graced and honored with Special Queens and Quests and visitors from all parts of the country including various departments and more.
Activities such as Drama, traditional dances, jokes, music by several Artis,paper presentation,award presentation,talk show, comedy,
beauty pageant, masquerade dances and, Bike Race,local Resilin,and many more.
World Tourism Day aims to foster awareness among the global community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value.
