The acting president NULGE Taraba State today affirmed the earlier statement made by Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku that's he was up-to-date in salary payment. The permanent Secretary Bureau For local Government and chieftaincy affairs Alh Bello Yero while addressing the NULGE delegation said he is indeed overwhelmed with the act of the union because since inception of the Darius administration they've not gone unnecessaryly striking over issues. Bello assured them that the two months Arrears been owed by the government will be paid because the governor is committed in making sure he settles that.
Yero said under his watch he will keep doing his best in making sure that the union operates effectively and to also put the interest of the people first
The permanent Secretary assured them of building a total bridge of connection between them and the Government saying Governor Ishaku is doing everything possible in making sure that no sector in the state slims over it's basics. He urged them to keep supporting the government in their own way because it is our collective efforts to build a Taraba of our dream .
Yero appealed to the NULGE to communicate their branches in the entire 16 local government areas to mobilise and give Governor Darius Ishaku and bulk vote in 2019. He thank the newly appointed Acting President of NULGE and wished him a successful tenure.
The acting president NULGE speaking said they've done their findings and realise that Taraba state under the leadership of Governor Darius has fulfilled it promises on salaries matter.
He went further to say since the inception of this administration the NULGE has never gone on the street to protest for any reason or strike for reasons of Salaries or negligence of staff welfare. He said they will work in harmony with the state government in making sure that the relationship doesn't go soar. He thanked the Governor for his support and concern on the union and promised to support the government succeed
A group known as JEFTA from Jalingo local government has also described the Darius led administration as the best youths friendly Government. The Chairman made this statement briefly after the affirmation of the NULGE on the state Government. They promised to work round The clock to deliver Darius and PDP in Taraba come 2019. The Jalingo football association pledged their total unalloyed loyalty and support for Darius come 2019. The Chairman said the only way of paying him back for all his good deeds especially in Jalingo LG is by voting him for continuity in 2019
