His Excellency the Executive Governor of Taraba
state Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku today swear in
four Special Advisers One caretaker Chairman and
also inaugurated the CSDP Board. The event took
place at the government house Exco chambers
jalingo and had in attendance His Excellency the
Deputy Governor Taraba state Engr Haruna manu,
Speaker Taraba state house of assembly Rt Hon
Abel Peter Diah, Chief Judge Justice Josephine
Tuktur, Head of Service Mr Simon Angyu, SSG Hon
Anthony Jellason, Chief of staff Hon Rebo usman,
members Taraba state Executive council, Advisers
SSA's.
The Governor Speaking said, the swearing in of
another 4 special Advisers today mark another mile
stone in the continuation of the good work going
on already in the state. The swearing in of the
Caretaker Chairman is as a result of the
unfuturnate crisis that erupted during the elections
thereby eluding them the chance of electing a
leader . The Governor appreciated the speaker for
allowing him still constitute a care taker chairman,
he said he was advised that if he go ahead with
the elections of Ibi LGA there will be lost of life's
and neccessited him constituting CTC.
The Governor urged the people to embrace peace
and shun all sort of disagreement that will cause
unrest in the state, he specifically pleaded with the
people of Ibi to take each other as brothers and
sister. He prayed the special Advisers to key into
the rescue mission immediately in other to catch
up with the team , just as he said during the
swearing in of others they are coming in at a time
were there is dwindling financial issues and ask
that they work tirelessly to meet the demand of the
Rescue mission.
The Governor said he was promoted to also
inaugurate the CSDP board because when he came
in the report of loss and recklessness he got about
the board was not pleasant and he urge them to
work to bring back the lost glory of the Board. On
a final note the governor admonished all who have
join the government today to put in there best and
bring glory to Taraba state, he congratulated them
and pray they enjoy a successful Reign in office.
Speaking unbehalf of the newly sworn in Advisers
Dr Jedua David said it is God appointed time for
them to come in and render there own services to
the state, he said God has made it possible for
them to join the rescue captain in delivering the
dividend of democracy. He said joining the
administration at almost half way of service, they
will add colour to the leadership and never be a
Borden to him and the government. Speaking he
said the just conclude LGA elections is a proof that
joining the team is a right choice and seen that
God has given Taraba a leader who is a lover of
peace, they will work to see that the peace is
sustain he finally pledged to work hard together
with his colics to have a succesfull tenure.
